Bengaluru, Oct 30: Nippon Paint India, part of the NIPSEA Group - Asia Pacific’s No. 1 paint and coatings manufacturer, has launched the Akshaya Pathra Card, an exclusive family welfare benefit for its top-tier painting contractors. Introduced by Nippon Paint India for its Master Club painting contractors, the initiative links eligible purchases of Nippon Paint products to an additional financial benefit for their families. Inspired by the traditional concept of Akshaya Patra, symbolising abundance and continuous nourishment, the initiative places family well-being at its heart.
Managing everyday household expenses can be a challenge for many families. The Akshaya Patra Card, a new family welfare initiative for eligible painting contractors, aims to offer additional financial support towards groceries and other essential household needs. Through the company’s PROChamps+ loyalty platform, every eligible product pack scanned contributes towards the card’s value, over and above existing loyalty benefits. The accumulated amount is credited to a debit card that families can use for everyday household expenses.
The initiative recognises that the contribution of painting professionals extends beyond their work, with families playing an important role in supporting their livelihoods and aspirations. By extending benefits to the household, the Akshaya Patra Card seeks to make the rewards of their professional efforts more tangible in everyday life.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Mark Titus, President – Decorative Business, Nippon Paint India, said,
“Our painting contractors and their families work hard to build better lives, and we believe the benefits of their professional efforts should extend to their homes as well. With the Akshaya Patra Card, we hope to provide families with additional support towards everyday essentials. It is a way of recognising the contribution of the entire family and making our association with the painting community more meaningful.”
The card was launched at a special programme held at Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. The event brought together Master Club painting contractors and their families, with the cards presented to the contractors’ wives in recognition of the important role they play in their families’ lives and professional journeys.
By connecting product-based loyalty benefits with household needs, the initiative offers painting contractors’ families an additional source of support for everyday expenses. It also acknowledges the wider role families play in sustaining the painting profession and building financial security at home.
