Noida, Dec 26: IMS Design and Innovation Academy (IMS–DIA) celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm at its Sector-62 campus on Tuesday. Students, faculty members, and staff enthusiastically participated in the festivities, coming together to share the joy and spirit of the occasion. During the celebration, students also encouraged initiatives such as car pooling, road safety, recycling, environmental conservation, and cleanliness.
Sharing his message on the occasion, Vice President of IMS-DIA, Mr. Chirag Gupta, said that Christmas is not just a celebration but also an opportunity to understand our responsibilities towards society and the environment. He encouraged the youth to engage not only in innovation but also in social causes. He urged students to imbibe social responsibility, creative thinking, and human values in their lives and play an active role in building a positive and sensitive society.
Extending Christmas greetings at the outset, Director General of IMS Noida, Professor (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, said that
"Christmas inspires values of love, harmony, and working for the welfare of others. Dean of IMS–DIA, Professor (Dr.) MKV Nair, emphasized that the institution’s objective is to remain connected with creative growth while bringing positive change in society. He added that by taking inspiration from the life of Santa Claus, everyone should contribute towards building a happy and compassionate society."
Speaking about the event, Ms. Meetu Chaudhary, Head of the Cultural Club at IMS Noida, informed that
"students participated in carol singing, cultural performances, and creative activities. Their singing, dance, and musical performances added vibrancy to the celebration. The program concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, where students exchanged wishes and conveyed a message of mutual harmony and brotherhood."
