Bhubaneswar, November 7, 2025: KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) has been recognized in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, emerging as the highest-ranked university in Odisha among both public and private institutions. Nationally, KIIT secured the 294th position in Asia, highlighting its growing prominence in the global education landscape.

The QS Asia University Rankings assess universities across the continent based on several indicators, including academic reputation, research output, faculty-student ratio, international collaboration, and employer reputation. This year, over 1,500 universities were evaluated, with 555 new institutions included for the first time.
KIIT’s performance reflects its emphasis on quality teaching, research, and holistic student development. In Eastern India, the university continues to lead, underscoring its commitment to providing world-class education while nurturing talent across disciplines.

Despite being just 22 years old, KIIT has consistently made its mark in global rankings. The university was recently placed in the 501+ bracket in the Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings 2025, where it was recognized as the 5th best university in India.
